Altered art is challenging and rewarding.
The base object, be it bottle, box, horseshoe is merely a blank canvas. The surface, shape, contours give the artist the challenge of fit, form and function.
I enjoy using unconventional art supplies. I make a variety of glues & pastes, right in my own kitchen, as needed to mold fabric, decoupage, mount findings.
I’m a frugal artist. Thrift stores, flea markets, yard sales are my supply chain.
Fabric draping and fabric decoupage are my favorite mediums for bottle and box decorating.
So roll up your sleeves and let’s get to making art!
